ABCHomes to host 15th annual NWA golf tournament

The Arkansas Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries (ABCHomes) will host its 15th annual Northwest Arkansas golf tournament Monday, June 29 to raise funds to meet the needs of children and families in crisis.
The event will be held at the Lost Springs Golf Club in Rogers. It will include a luncheon, live and silent auctions at noon; a morning and afternoon 18-hole scramble; and an awards ceremony. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and 1 p.m., and shotgun starts at 8:15 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.
Indivual prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each flight, as well as prizes for the “closest to the pin” and “longest drive.”
“The annual golf tournament has become a fun-filled and vital annual event to support ABCHomes,” said John Ross, ABCHomes development officer. “Thanks to the many generous donors and supporters, ABCHomes is significantly touching the lives of countless children, teens and families.”
First Baptist Church of Bentonville is the “Event Sponsor,,” continuing their long-time support of ABCHomes. Other sponsors include Lost Springs Golf Club, Crain Auto Group and many other NWA businesses and individuals.
Over the last three years, the tournament has raised more than $100,000 to help make a difference in the lives of many in need throughout Arkansas.
