A group or individual may sponsor a child living in Monticello, Harrison or Little Rock for any amount desired per month up to $200. SMILE Sponsors' monthly gifts are used to provide educational expenses, allowance, clothing, camp & retreat fees, music or art lessons, medical and dental, personal grooming items, sports uniforms & equipment, special events, recreation & bedroom furnishings.
SMILE sponsors receive a monthly receipt and personal update from the SMILE Sponsor Coordinator on the campus where their child lives. Pictures will be sent when allowable by law. All gifts should be made payable each month to ABC Homes and mailed to the Home Office at P.O. Box 552, Little Rock, AR 72203.
COTTAGE Sponsorships are available for groups interested in helping all 8 children and the houseparents by praying and providing for the needs of their specific cottage family. Special activities or visits may also be planned by cottage sponsors.
FAMILY FRIEND is the special designation given to a person or family who wishes to develop a long term personal relationship with a specific child. After the interview and application process, a police check is required before this level of friendship is established. Family Friends invite their child to spend holidays, school breaks and other special days in their home and participate in family outings and trips.
SMILEmakers Mission Guide is a monthly resource listing items our children need and prayer requests. Items collected may be delivered to any one of our locations statewide.
