Mission/Ministry Opportunities
Mission Actions opportunities abound for groups interested in ministering to the children in our care. These projects may be for one of our emergency shelters, our children's home, boys ranch, or our maternity home. Sometimes the best mission action projects are ones that groups think up by themselves. However, listed here are some general ideas.
- Collections boxes: Collection boxes filled with almost anything that a normal household needs such as: paper products, school supplies, food, etc.
- Work Projects: Groups are welcome to have work projects at our facilities. These projects might include maintenance, painting, cleaning, lawn work, etc.
- Sewing Projects: Sewing circles might make bedspreads, quilts, baby items, etc.
- Hosting Parties: Birthday parties or seasonal parties can be provided at our facilities by groups bringing refreshments, decorations, etc.
- Backyard Bible clubs: Groups sometimes provide a program, "Backyard Bible Club, picnic, or some other activity for our children.
- Care Packages: Care packages of makeup, toiletries, craft items, books, etc. can be put together for the children in a shelter or cottage.
